My Story
Cardillo, popularly known as Billie or THAT DnB girlie established her fondness for electronic dance music in early 2011. Cardillo recalled a multitude of iconic festival anthems like Avicii’s ‘Levels’ (Radio Edit), Nicky Romero’s infamous ‘Toulouse ', or Guetta’s timeless record, ‘Titanium,’ taking over domestic radio stations in the contiguous United States alongside early streaming platforms. Electronic Dance Music’s legendary takeover into the mainstream audience in 2011 ignited Cardillo’s adventure into an entirely new culture, community, and passion. Cardillo’s first taste of the culture and the community was Mystery Land 2013.

As Cardillo’s interest in dance music grew, the desire to attend dance music events, concerts, or festivals became stronger. Emanating from a small suburban town, the dance music scene was scarce; therefore, activating Cardillo to start fresh and move to Florida in late 2017. Since early 2018, Cardillo has been an astronomical supporter of the local, regional, and mainstream dance music scene in Florida. One of Cardillo’s first events in Florida was progressive house savant, Audien at Orlando Amphitheatre, Orlando, Florida. The biggest festival is Decadence Arizona. Today, Cardillo assists Defiant Presents’ by leading a growing community and preserving the dance music culture for future generations to come while profoundly supporting Tampa’s nightlife.
Cardillo’s goal is to encourage the community to be responsible while attending their local dance music raves or traveling to flagship festivals such as the Electronic Daisy Carnival series, Ultra Music Festival, or even camping festivals like Electric Forest in Michigan. From humble beginnings as an attendee to a successful professional in the industry, Cardillo’s undying love for dance music and the culture is endless Cardillo recalled, “I like electronic dance music because of the friendships and connections I made paired with the unconditional love that I receive. Now, I am part of a project that I not only trust but align with my core beliefs as an individual.”
